The Hub, at the top of the North end of the mountain. Only Black level trail ramps from up there. Know what you’re doing or go back down the way you got up. On the day I shot this video, I watched a guy fly down the highest ramp, panic on the brakes, go otb half way down and drop the remaining 12 feet to the ground to break his collarbone and hit his head so hard he cracked his helmet open.

This video submission is from (at the time) 7 year old Logan Kraham. He has been fascinated by GoPro videos for about a year now, literally looking at hours of footage. he got his first camera this past Christmas and this is his first footage. He lives in Houston, TX and this is footage from the first portion and back portion of the "ant hills" trails at Terry Hershey Park. He filmed it and edited it himself. His dad only coached him along with parts that he did not understand. He knows his video is not as "rad" as all of the other submissions but this kid IS rad. He has ridden these technical trails since he was 5. He is a regular on the kids triathlon scene and helped train his dad to his first Ironman finish. Logan would ride along side his dad on his long runs of 20 miles or so. The kid is amazing. Signed, Colette Kraham aka mom

Hi, thanks for create this contest. To be quick and make it easy, i wanted to creat an impressive video, but just this past three weeks i had to work mostly day and night 7 days a week, so i have done just in 20 minutes a small slideshow with some of my photos and edited with my mobile. Why i want to win this contest?. Just because in this order, i love Nature, i love mountain biking and i love photography. Mixing all of them i i live big adventures. I have been once in Norway, but not with the bike, and i have always wanted to come back with my bike to ride this impressive mountains they have, but,,, unfortunatly, the money, work, and free time make it not possible. I hope you like it. You can find some of my photos at https://www.instagram.com/chaponiberica And some of my videos at: https://vimeo.com/shootandride Thanks again and keep on!

I got into riding through my Dad, following his tracks on my 20" wheeled 'Dirt Squirt' through the woods of Exmoor in the UK. Years later, after continued riding and enjoyment in XC, Downhill and Enduro, it was time to go to university. Having researched many options on courses I eventually decided the basis of my choice was where I was going to live and how accessible adventure would be. For this reason I chose to live in the most mountainous part of England, the Lake District! A course in Outdoor Leadership didn't seem all that bad either but I still managed to neglect studies to go out in any weather doing anything I thought was going to push my boundaries. My riding and general adventurism has improved beyond belief, I go back home to 'the tricky trail' and its a breeze. Now after three years of Lake District life and riding I feel like I need a new set of mountains to throw me and my bike down. This phantasmagorical opportunity will allow for me and my bro to experience true adventure together, without us having to sell our kidneys to get our adventure fix. This film of 'A Normal Day in the Lakes' shows me and my adventuring pal Dan scaling Helvellyn's 'Swirral Edge' in the snow. (We got many people with crampons and axes asking us if we were lost). We knew what we were doing and plummeted down 'Sticks Pass' in the white stuff, whooping and hollering all the way. I threw ideas at my 'up and coming sports photographer friend' James France who helped out with the filming side and I have to say I am very proud of the result! I hope this has shown my hunger for adventure and challenge in just a minute and look forward to hearing from the Bikester and Pinkbike team.

This is a line I found down through some mystical waterfalls while ripping around with friends on motos after the Taxco Urban race in Mexico this year. It's steeper and more technical than it looks here and I wasn't sure I would be able to find the traction to keep myself from sliding down the slippery exposed rocks and getting sent over the falls, let alone get permission to try it from the steely eyed locals. But it is Mexico and it all worked out. I approached the makeshift taqueria to ask who to talk to about trying to ride down on my bicycle and was greeted with a Hi Cris and a smile. I was shocked to learn that these families way up in the remote mountains were huge fans of the annual race down the streets of their beloved Taxco. One of the guys remembered my buddy Jeremy and I building the track the first year we came down for it and before long the Victorias were clinging. It was a day and a place I'll never forget. Somehow I was able to stay in my pedals, splashing and sliding all the way bottom on my first run feet up which surprised the hell out of me. All of a sudden I stopped playing into the exposure and solid rock consequences and it was a hell of a fun run despite being so slippery (as I demonstrate at the bottom when I let my guard down and end up face first in the pool). We ended up losing a drone down a 50 meter cascade trying to shoot a tricky little piece for the contest, but it certainly could have turned out worse. I will be back for that one when I get my hands on a Karma because the reveal flying off towards the plumes of the towering Popo volcano are pure Mexican Magic. Days like this can happen every day down here if you let them, especially on a fast motorcycle. Gracias Mexico!
